Staging tip: “If you look closely at the ‘after’ picture you will surely notice that the chandelier is completely off the table center. The only way to fix this problem was to install a hook on the ceiling and move the chandelier, which is something I did more than once in the past. However, after discussing it with the listing agent, this time we decided to leave it as is. The result? The condo sold nevertheless in less than two weeks. This example shows that it is ok to leave some small imperfections when staging a property, because at the end what counts is the big picture.”
