Home staging tip: Selling a house is a hard task, particularly if you have small children. However, you don’t have to turn your house into an unsafe place just for the purpose of staging. Take this home for example. The living room, which was also the very first room you walked into, was used by the owners as a playroom as well. Did I suggest to hide the toys? Yes, of course. Toys don’t belong to a living room. Did I suggest to remove the coffee table safety bumpers? Of course not. Kids’ safety always comes first. A staged house doesn’t have to look like a museum if people are still living in it, some imperfections are totally acceptable.
