Home staging tip: Ok, this is not really about home staging, even though it is related to the presentation of a house. For us living in Seattle, it is a challenge to take exterior photos on a sunny day. That’s why sky replacement is a common practice, however, it has to look realistic as well. In the example above, I decided to replace a completely gray sky with a cloudy one and not with a sunny one, because there are no traces of sunshine in the foreground. Clouds can be a very decorative element within a picture, especially if they are spaced out by splashes of blue.
