I’ve been interested in the interior decorating and redesign field for many years, but it was in 2004 that I decided to transform my passion into a profession. In March 2004 I earned a diploma in Interior Decorating from Penn Foster Career School, a nationally accredited institution.
In March 2006 I became an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), and was personally trained by Barb Schwarz, the renowned founder of home staging.
In September 2007 I also became a certified Dewey Color Consultant (DCC). The Dewey Color System® is the world’s only validated, color-based personality testing instrument.
My constant itching for learning and personal growth is what has convinced me to enroll in the Interior Studies program at Bellevue College, where I’m currently a student.
Meanwhile I’ve been pursuing a complimentary passion of mine: digital photography. Therefore in September 2014 I took an “Introduction to Digital Photography” class at BC followed by an “Advance Digital Imaging” class. This new knowledge (plus constant practice) is now helping me explore a new career path: architectural and interior photography. But my interest in photography covers many fields, particularly portraits (the self-portrait above is the result of a college assignment).
There you go. This is me.
I’m looking forward to working with you!
