Home staging tip: See the two abstract paintings by the window? I’ve had them literally for years. And guess what? I have four of them! Why? Well, first of all, they are chocolate brown, which is a classic and neutral color that goes with everything. Second, they are very light, therefore easy to hang and to move around. And third, they are abstract, so they can adapt to any decor. However, they are all identical and I guess that we all feel that hanging two identical images side by side looks a little out of place. However, because they are abstract, you can hang one of the two upsidedown to form a pair that works well together. In this case for examples, the white lines could represent some branches (painting on the left) but also some grass (painting on the right). So, if you have to invest in some art for staging, consider abstract art as a versatile wall decoration.
