I love to start my “Home staging how to” series with the photos of this staging, because its success translated into a big relief for the seller. And, as a home stager, you are happy when the seller is happy. Let me explain: this house was on the market for 8 months. It had a lot of showings, but no offers. After I staged it, it sold in just one month! As you can see, the living area consisted of a big open space. The wall colors were just right, the floor was right as well, what it lacked of was some splashes of color and especially some furniture to welcome the buyer into a cozy dwelling. This was the very first room you saw entering into the house. Remember: the first impression is where the focus has to be! And, it worked…
