Home staging tip: Picture this: one corner, one square end table, two (almost) square armchairs and one rectangular rug. Seems quite simple right? Believe it or not, it took me more than twenty minutes trying to figure out how to arrange and balance these 4 elements together. Why? Because there was always this little space left at the side of armchair due to the fact that the rug is rectangular and not square, as the arrangement itself. That is why I decided to place the floor plant in that spot, to fill the gap and balance the composition. So, keep floor plants in mind, they are very useful when it comes to filling small spaces and most importantly they give a nice pop of color.
