Home staging tip: Symmetry without balance is not effective. The way the room above was furnished was symmetrical but out of balance: the two armchairs were too small for the space, the fireplace was lacking any decoration (an empty niche is calling for accessories), without considering the fact that the armchair on the right was blocking the staircase. We staged this living room taking into consideration the rules and elements of design such as line, direction, size, texture, color, and so on.
