Home staging tip: Never underestimate what a photo is showing outside. If the house comes with a beautiful yard, make sure to highlight it in the photos.
Home staging tip: I have to say that in my many years of working as a home stager, I’ve rarely used tablecloths. The few times I did it, it was either to cover a table that was not in good condition or to cover one of those three-legged round decorative side tables that come unfinished. However, if your table is either in perfect condition or has a unique design, like the one in the picture above, definitely ditch the tablecloth and don’t be afraid to show it.
Home staging tip: If a table set is too small for a room, then use a rug that covers an area that is bigger than the table set itself. At the same time, if two pictures are also too small for a wall, consider adding a third element to extend the surface covered and to introduce some visual balance. In this case, we placed a mirror between a pair of matching pictures.
