Buyers love space! By opening up the room and creating two distinctive conversation areas, the eye perceives the same room as much bigger.

Neutralizing is essential in staging. This guest bedroom has too much going on, especially on the walls. By taking down the drapes and using a white, neutral bedspread, the result is a lovely “bed and breakfast” style bedroom.

This couch is blocking the way into the living room (this picture was taken from the entry). Rearranging the furniture and moving the couch to the opposite wall makes this living room flow.

Declutter is probably the number one rule. Keep only the essential and either pack, donate or toss all the rest.
